Dallas Holocaust Museum

The Holocaust represents one of the most tragic events in human history. While the time period weighs heavily on the heart, the story portrays the strength of the human spirit and importance of tolerance. The Dallas Holocaust Museum roots its mission in preserving the memory of the Holocaust and teaching the moral and ethical response to prejudice, hatred and intolerance. The Dallas Holocaust Museum enlisted 70kft to redesign and launch its website to reflect the compelling and emotional nature of its mission.

Design

The Design team implemented large, powerful imagery to introduce the public to the gravity of the museum’s message of tolerance, along with the exhibits that communicate that message. Each image, combined with compelling typography, tells part of the story unfolding through the site. The images grab the viewer on an emotional level that draws them deeper into the website while the story unfolds. Ultimately, the design honors the story of the Holocaust and educates the viewer on the importance of understanding its story in the present and future.

Public Relations

70kft Public Relations helped the Dallas Holocaust Museum create a strategic approach to communicate the lessons of the Holocaust to today’s generation. This approach involved translating the Holocaust messaging of tolerance to multiple groups facing prejudice or intolerance. Additionally, the team improved exhibit attendance with pre-event placements including calendar listings, blog posts and compelling exhibit stories.
